The purpose of this curriculum web is to have students understand the significance of the Holocaust and make personal connections through the exploration of literature and media. These projects are designed as supplementary activities to the reading of "The Diary of Anne Frank." Among other things, students will read poems, listen to survior testimonials, create a poster and book jacket, and write journal entries to achieve these goals.
Students will use this site to complete five interactive projects. Each page includes directions, links, sample projects when applicable, and rubrics. All five projects relate to and build off of one another, culminating in an Anne Frank memorial activity.
